The visa bulletin April 2011 has been released and as usual it brings good news for someone and for some it’s bad. Again its brought a disappointment for Indian Nationals. So now eyes are on May 2011 Visa Bulletin in the hope that it will bring good news for them as well. Last quarter for green card would start in June. This is the time when lot of movement happens in the availability dates. And thus many  people are waiting for the 2011 June visa bulletin.Many have started predicting or giving their views for the upcoming may visa bulletin. Below are some of the prediction for the upcoming May Bulletin which is going to release 2nd week of next month.

May 2011 Visa Bulletin Prediction for Family Sponsored Preferences

F1 Visa is anticipated to have retrogression in the cutoff dates of countries: China, India and all chargeability areas other than countries listed. Mexico and Philippines will have a slight advancement.

F2B Visa cut-off dates will remain unchanged for countries China, India, Mexico and all chargeability areas other than countries listed. Philippines cut-off dates are expected to extend for 2-3 months.

F3 Visa cut-off dates for countries other than Philippines will remain stable or have a slight advancement whereas Philippines will have advancement of 1-2 months.

F4 Visa cut-off dates will have an advancement of 1-2 months for all countries.

Prediction for Employment Based Preferences

EB1 Visa will have the cut-off date to be Current for all chargeability areas.

EB2 Visa Cut-off dates will be Current for Mexico, Philippines and all chargeability areas other than countries listed. EB2 Cut-off date for India will remain the same as 08MAY06 whereas China might have advancement of 20-30 days.

EB3 Visa Cut-off dates for all chargeability areas other than Mexico will have 1-2 months advancement whereas Mexico will have 4-5 months advancement.

Other Workers Visa cut-off dates for all chargeability areas other than China will have 1-2 months advancement. China cut-off dates will remain stable.

EB4, Visa for certain religious workers, EB5, Visa for Targeted Employment Areas / Regional Centers and Visa for 5th Pilot Programs will all have the cut-off dates to be Current for all changeability areas.

    EB2 India will move in may 2011 bulletin as there are 12000 EB1 unused Visas which will be given to EB2 … read murthy.com

    Does anyone think When the new fiscal year begins on October 1, will brings back the dates to where they were before retrogression. (Aug 2010)?
    I read information in the USCIS site saying that but not very clear.
